Accessibility Notice

Effective date: December 17th, 2019.

MISSION STATEMENT

House of Sillage recognizes the need for businesses to strive to provide accessibility to all consumers. Whether you are using assistive technologies or not, our goal is to permit our customers to successfully gather information and transact business through our website.

Furthermore, House of Sillage shares the frustration that many of its clients and potential customers face as technology and the web format begin to finally address and meet the needs of those in the community that may require additional assistance or a different website experience that meets their needs. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort and are taking a variety of steps to assess, monitor and enhance our website to meet those goals.

While Title III of the American Disability Act does not currently specifically mandate any particular set of standards for the websites of businesses open to the public, as a company we ourselves are working towards meeting the recommended Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA standards. These guidelines detail suggested standards necessary to make web content more accessible to all individuals no matter their abilities. For more information and to review these standards in full, please visit https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/

FEEDBACK

As we work towards meeting WCAG 2.0 AA standards, we recognize we are not there yet. Further, we recognize that what may work for some individuals may not work for others and that WCAG 2.0 AA standards may themselves not be perfected. As such, if you have any concerns, comments, or suggestions, please reach out to us at the contact information provided above if you have any feedback as to how we could improve the accessibility of this website.
